We finally got a decent (by VA standards) snow!

By the time it was bright and warm enough to go out, the snow had turned to hail. Vada still loved it. But Theo…not so much.

Kimmie went on her annual trip with some of her chiro besties! Her group is an all-female chiropractors group where there’s lots of work on personal and professional development.

Old friends, and new. Enjoying the Florida warmth was a nice break from the cold of VA winter!

While the conditions on the slopes didn’t really make for great skiing on our ski trip, we still had a great trip spending quality time with our dear friends, Zack and Alyssa, who had newly found out they were welcoming a little one to their family at the end of 2021!

Vada dressed herself SO cool for our Valentine’s weekend trip to Kroger. The socks + sandals in February are obviously my favorite part.

In March, Grandma and Lola came to visit to celebrate Theo’s 1st birthday!

He REALLY enjoyed his smash cake.

We celebrated by going to the local children’s museum.

He was a lucky little one-year-old with lots of gifts from those who love him!

Vada and Jake went to their first Daddy-Daughter Dance, and she was SMITTEN!

The night was a BLAST!

Plus she got to dance with some of her friends from her sitter’s family!

We had a nice brunch at Hotel Roanoke with the grandmas.

Theo and Vada learned a new favorite way to walk while they’re out and about: holding each others’ hands! They do this EVERYWHERE!

Vada had her first soccer practice. It was a bit chilly, but she loved it!

Daddy took her to her first practice…and wound up getting wrangled in as a parent volunteer coach.

We went to Blacksburg to celebrate the grand opening of Adjust NRV! Dr. Brooke is the man who’s responsible for introducing Kimmie to chiropractic! He is such an important part of our journey in life and practice!

Every morning when they wake up, they are SO excited to see each other!

Theo joined for Vada’s last soccer practice. Even in April, it was SO chilly!

They celebrated their team with medals and certificates for a great season!

Theo nursed at the breast for about 14 months, and continued getting breastmilk in bottles for about 6 more weeks after that. This is his last bottle of breastmilk! A sweet picture to capture the conclusion to a journey that is long, special, difficult at times, but so worth it in the end.

We’ve started a routine of going to the library on Tuesdays. The kids mostly play at the train station, but we make sure to pick up plenty of new (to us) books to be able to hear lots of different bedtime stories throughout the week.

We’ve had lots of changes on our CFC Team this year. We now have Loren (left) full time and Kaitlin (right) part time. They’re a GREAT fit for our practice, for us, and for our patients!
