Becoming a new patient can be intimidating, but we want you to know there's nothing to be worried about at Chernichky Family Chiropractic! We will strive to make all of your visits, especially your first one, comfortable and relaxing! Here are some of the top things we feel you should know to help ease any concerns you have about your first visit:

1. What should I wear?

Wear whatever is comfortable! Depending on your health concern, some of our range of motion tests and diagnostic tests may require you to be more freely moveable, so please keep this in mind!

2. When should I show up?

In order for us to begin your appointment on time, it is important for you to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. This allows us time to ensure we have all the appropriate paperwork completed so our doctors can be prepared and well-informed of who you are and what brings you in!

3. What do I do with the new patient paperwork that you e-mailed me?

You have some options here!

EMAIL: If you would like to e-mail us your paperwork, please send it to

FAX: You can fax your paperwork to us at (540) 591-3525.

NOTE: If you filled out your forms digitally, please save them as a PDF before sending them to us to ensure that the formatting doesn't make it so we lose the information you filled out.

4. How long will it take?

The length of your appointment is very dependent on your health concern. We tell patients to anticipate being here for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the severity of their case.

Have any other questions or concerns about your new patient appointment? Please feel free to e-mail us at or call us at (540) 591-3535 any time!
