As your body grows and changes, you will begin to assume a very different posture. With the weight of baby in the front, we often find ourselves dropped the lower section of our spine forward to compensate for this weight. While this change in posture is normal and is (within reason) appropriate, it shouldn’t be causing pain and other issues like sciatica to arise.
When problems like sciatica come about, it tells us that there was an imbalance in the spine- often in the pelvis. This can lead to uneven tightening of the muscles that support your pelvic girdle. While this imbalance can create many problems, one of the most common, and most painful/annoying is sciatica.
